Silver Reef Ghost Town

There were several markers and a map that told us what used to be there.

Zion National Park

It was so beautiful that we took over 100 pictures! Don't worry I didn't post all of them. : )

We could see this arch from our campground.

Found some shade

Along the trail.

Thursday we hiked to Emerald Pools. It is green because of the algae.

The cool part was walking through the waterfall.

The Virgin River runs through Zion Park.

Snake

A deer eating lunch while we were eating our lunch.

Squirrel posing for a picture.

We saw some rock climbers climbing cliffs like this. We were told that it can take a day to a day and a half for them to get to the top. The world record free climber came to Zion National Park and scaled one of them in 83 Minutes!

The road was red.

Many of the mountains and peaks have names that were given by LDS members such as Mount Moroni, Enoch, Kolob Canyon, The Court of the Patriarchs which are Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

Looking out over a valley at the top of our second hike.  It was a great opportunity to talk about how our Heavenly Father created this beautiful world for us and His power to create.

Our family at the top of the look out. (and a photo bomber)

We saw a scary face in the side of the mountain, can you?

Lizard, we also saw lots of butterflies along the path.

Flowers in the spring before they die in the summer heat.

Along the way we found a petting zoo in Scipio and a great play ground in Beaver. We played in the game room and swam in the swimming pool at the camp ground. We are grateful we were able to spend this time together.
